Trip of a lifetime - Numbers!

Aloha gang!

So it's been almost 2 days since we been home, and still trying to adjust my body clock and mental clock of being back to work and some form of normalcy...but I cannot return to the 808 and just be normal anymore after what I saw, experienced, lived, laughed and loved...2 things right away sticks out for me and I am still processing this all out:

  1)  My time with Brandi was priceless...14 straight days of hanging out with her, laughing, eating, seeing, experiencing...just living life with her...it was a time that will never be forgotten and  I pray that God used us in this time to see what He wanted us to see, hear what He wanted us to hear, love what He wants us to love and live differently cause of it all..of what He did and went through.

  2)  Our Israel Ohana...boy do I miss the interaction we had with the 6 couples...the 3 Tom's and their wives, Amy, Marilyn and Raymonde...Steve and Loretta, and Ann and Jim (our Tar Heel ohana)...we sure had a blast and will never forget them.

Here are some numbers that you all will appreciate, to kind of see how big of a deal and scope of what we did over the last 2 weeks:

Over 14 days from Sunday April 10 to April 24, that 336 hours we were away from home.

We flew 21,234 miles - Hawaii to NY to Tel Aviv back to NY back to Hawaii

We were in the air for 40.50 hours, with wait time at airport of about 11 hours.

We spent a total of 4 days in NYC (1.5 before Israel and 2 days after Israel)

We spent a total of 8 days in Israel

We spent almost 2 full days of air travel time.

We drove approximately 677 while in Israel in our luxury bus

We walked approximately 42 miles while in Israel (based on my phone's step o meter)

While in NY over the 2 visits, we walked 39 miles, 1 day we did 14 miles

In 2 weeks, we walked approximately 81 miles.  In Jesus day, they did that in 5 days or so..15 miles a day...lol

We caught 2 subway trains in NYC

We caught 6 cabs/Uber while in NYC - nuts drivers

On my phone alone, I have 1381 photos & 85 views

I posted 12 blogs with 1462 views as of this morning, with 31 followers

I did 4 loads of laundry for my clothes only..lol

In all of this there is still 1 God, the Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Same today, yesterday and tomorrow.

Priceless and so amazing what we did and where we went.

I am still trying to process how to put this all together in one source of memory for me...it will take some time, but it will be done.
